About Me
Hi there! My name is William and I am a fitness instructor based in London. I am a certified indoor cycling instructor, barre instructor, and Level 3 Personal Trainer. Before all of that, however, I used to be a competitive artistic gymnast back in the U.S.!
When I am not teaching or moving, I am wrapping up my PhD thesis in Political Science (do not worry I will not bore you with that MESS when training).
Coaching Philosophy
Throughout my gymnastics career, I always appreciated the benefits of grueling physical exercise and its relation to pushing the boundaries of sport and the body alike. However, upon moving to London, I began experiencing movement in a different light: as a way of release and escape.
Exercise did not have to be debilitatingly hard to experience its benefits, rather, learning to simply move with intention and conviction proved much more beneficial for both my mind and body.
My coaching style is notably distinct, engineered from the plyometric and calisthenic foundation of gymnastics conditioning. Merging this with my group fitness career and mainstream certifications, I am more than confident in my ability to guide you in achieving your goals.
I have built this philosophy across 3 years of teaching group fitness and every single class reminds me of why I love teaching so much: not only seeing clients achieve control of mind over the body, but also feeling first-hand how their energies allow greater confidence and agency.
